Creating a poster via Glogster!



      Hı my sweeties. This week we were responsible for creatting a poster. I studied with my friends Hatice Koyuncu and Sinem Keser.While we were doing my homework we used  Glogster for our project. It was easy and enjoyable project for us. We found some logos and think about some common sentences about communication via technology. We prefer to tell the communication in 21st century with the help of technology and some apps. As all we know, communication is equal to technology. I hope we success to tell our ideas.
     Posters are also one of the most effective ways of telling ideas in a short and clear way. I certainly use them in my future experiences. See you soon :)

Wordle and Digital Storytelling

         Hı my dear visitors. We were responsible for a "Wordle" and recording a "Digital Storytelling". First, it was not difficult for me to create o wordle because wordle.net is an easy website to use. This process was enjoyable and easy for me.The wordle that I prepared is above. Wordles are can be a good way of teaching adjectives in my classes in future.

  Second, storytelling was a bit challenging for us. We prepared and recorded the story with my friends Sinem Keser and Hatice Koyuncu. However, we enjoyed the process very much. We recorded our story many times and sometimes we got angry and sometimes laughed very much.

I decided that I will certainly use the digital storytelling in my future. Because ıt is and enjoyable and effective way of teaching. It responses the new generations needs in a visual and cognitive ways.

 This week we prepared some website works for our future profession. I chose creating a puzzle because I believe that it is an easy and funny way to teach young learners. I had any difficulties while preparing puzzles because there were clear descriptions and steps about how to create a puzzle. We can use puzzles especially while teaching animal's names,colors, adjectives etc. in future. We all know that new generation will be very interested in technology. So, using websites effectively is highly important. We can create puzzles, comic strips or timelines as an easy but effective works. I prepared two different puzzles for my project. Webquest Evaluation

Hı dear followers! This week we met again to evaluate a webquest according to an evaluation rubric.Let’s help together!
First of all, I chose Zunal webquest and I examined it quickly.When I first looked at the generaI, realized that its owerall visual appeals was accomplished.There were planty of webquest pages and pictures related to each one. Navigation is perfect. It is always clear to the learner where he/she could find the webquest relevant to his/her level.However there is any mechanical problems as far as I examined.
Starting with the introduction part, there is a video and there are three questions to ask readers for draving attention. One of the questions is about whether the reader had experienced the topic they discussed in advance or not.This question is about the prior knowledge of learner and helps the readers foreshadowing what topic  is about.
The task is is clearly connected to what students must know and how they will be organized while they are work individually and in pairs. However, it is limited in its significance to students' lives. The task requires analysis of information and/or putting together information from several sources.There is no creativity.
Process of the work is clear and told step by step.But Some of the activities do not relate specifically to the accomplishment of the task.There are organizational tables and some exercises that all students need gain an information in advance. Some separate tasks or roles assigned but not enaugh.
Resources are convenient and enaugh for the process. There is a clear and meaningful connection between all the resources and the information needed for students to accomplish the task. But they do not encourage the students to think. They are just usefull to learn a pronunciation of a word.
In conclusion there is not a rubric for evaluation.There is a task instead of a rubric.That’s a pity. This webquest page’s total score is 36 of 50 points for me.

My Favourite Book Project

Hı my dear visitors. This week our assignment work is creating a wiki page by telling a book. I told you the book Satranç by Stefen Zweig. It was a bit difficult for me to create this work because of my first experience to create a wiki. First of all, It was a bit difficult to choose my best book and summarize it after a long time. However it was a good project for me. I remembered the high school days when I read this book. I want to use this project for my students.We can create our common work with my students this helps to improve my students creativity in future. Creating a Story : A Visit To Zoo

   
           In this project, I worked with Hatice Koyuncu. First of all, we read the initial part of the story and then we decided to visit a zoo in our story. We added many animals' sounds effects to create an enjoyable project for kids. We aimed to teach some animal's names. It was a creative and usefull work for us. 
   Also we had not any difficulties. Absolutely, we will use it for our own students in future.
